HELP IS AVAILABLE! Cobb’s Board of Commissioners recently expanded the use of federal funding to assist renters and homeowners who were negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. This new assistance can also help with utility bills.

1. STAR-C EVICTION / RENTAL ASSISTANCE
Cobb County has partnered with Star-C to help people impacted by COVID19 avoid evictions in affordable/workforce apartment communities.

2. COBB HOME SAVER / RENTAL ASSISTANCE
In an effort to aid renters adversely affected by COVID-19, qualified renters who currently reside in single-family homes, condos, attached homes, and apartments in Cobb County can now apply for up $4,800 to help pay their rent.

MUST Ministries will be accepting applications for rental and housing assistance.

4. CENTER FOR FAMILY RESOURCES
Marietta-based Center for Family Resources will help administer the rental assistance funds and provide help to those who qualify.
