Cut and Collect Hair-A-Thon. Annual event to cut and collect hair that is clean and dry and 8-10+ inches long. The Flag Project. Flags are installed by Marietta Kiwanians who place the flags around Cobb County on six nationally recognized holidays each year-Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Labor Day, September 11th and Veteran’s Day. The proceeds from this project fund Kiwanis Scholarships and other club programs, projects, and grants of the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation. Trail Work Day. Join the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club, a group of volunteers invite participants to join them for a Trail Work Day to help maintain the 20 plus miles of trails in the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. 8:30am-1pm. Greater Atlanta Coin Show. View and buy from displays of coins, currency, and bullion at more than 35 different coin dealers. 8th Annual GA 400 Hospitality Highway Bike Ride. Come ride your bike on the forbidden GA Hwy 400. We close all lanes so you can ride safely and get the thrill of a lifetime.
