Get Outdoors! It’s National Get Outdoors Day! Take a field trip to the Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site. Visit the oldest Mississippian culture site in the Southeast to learn about games that early Native Americans played and how they have influenced modern games and sports.
Cost: $2 for ages 5 and under; $4 for ages 6-18, $5 for seniors, $6 for adults

Have a Sunday Funday! Swing by the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and fill your afternoon with art! Every 2nd Sunday, the High Museum hosts family art-making workshops with fun hands-on projects that connect to works of art in their permanent collection and special exhibitions. This month, travel to outer space and back with the Families in Space theme.
Cost: Admission is free!

Make It To The Marietta Museum of History’s Mice Tour! The Marietta Museum of History hosts tours for the smallest of visitors! Introduce your toddler to history through concepts like shapes, sounds, games, tools, and jobs. Museum Mascots Murray and Etta are whimsical cartoon mice that help convey the themes and provide fun. The tour will offer a variety of activities including story time and crafts. Be sure to make a reservation! We require that you reserve a spot for your toddler by calling our office Monday-Friday from 10-4 at 770-794-5710. Reserving a spot will allow the staff to have enough items for the crafts.
Cost: $5 per family (1 adult and 3 children), $5 for each additional guest

Walk the Powers Island Trail! Enjoy a nice and refreshing walk through the Powers Island Trail! The Powers Island Trail courses through a number of trails on the river’s shore and explores an island, an inlet, and the banks of the shoaling Chattahoochee. Have an adventure with your kids as you walk this serene and picturesque trail.

Bowl for Free! Kids Bowl Free is a nationwide program that offers kids 15 and under two free games of bowling per day all summer long. You must register at www.kidsbowlfree.com/starsandstrikes to receive this offer! Once the kids have been registered, they will receive weekly coupons that may be redeemed for their free bowling. You may either turn in printed coupons or show the coupons on your phone/tablet for redemption. In addition, Stars and Strikes will be offering weekly coupons of their own to the guests who sign up for this program.
