The Cobb County State Court Clerk’s Office, led by Tahnicia Phillips, announces the launch of its new U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility, beginning Monday, Nov. 2. The addition offers residents greater convenience and marks another milestone in the clerk’s ongoing efforts to modernize operations, expand access to government services, and provide innovative, customer-focused solutions for Cobb County residents.

Through its official designation by the U.S. Department of State, the Clerk’s Office will accept passport applications for first-time applicants, qualifying minors, and other individuals required to apply in person.

“Bringing passport services to the Cobb County State Court Clerk’s Office is about more than expanding the services we provide. It’s about making government more accessible, convenient, and responsive to the needs of our community,” said Clerk of State Court Tahnicia Phillips. “We want to make the process of obtaining a passport easier and closer to home.”
