More than 50 soccer balls collected by Lenox Square this summer will help YMCA of Metro Atlanta youth athletes gear up for the upcoming soccer season. A portion of the donated balls will go to young players at McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA and Northeast Cobb Family YMCA, part of a broader effort to keep the beautiful game accessible to kids across Metro Atlanta.

The donation drive was held in celebration of the international soccer tournament matches hosted in Atlanta. As the birthplace of youth soccer in the U.S., the YMCA of Metro Atlanta has shaped Atlanta soccer for decades. Support from the local community and partners such as Lenox Square allow the organization to keep that tradition alive for the next generation of players.
