Registration for Cub Scouts is open to all elementary school-aged youth!

The Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America, is urging families to sign up before September so their Scout doesn’t miss a single adventure this year! When a child joins Cub Scouts, they build confidence, make new friends, and try things they’ve never done before.
Families are busy and often ask the same question: where does Scouting fit? The answer is that Cub Scouts is made to work around a family’s schedule, not compete with it. Cub Scouts meet in Dens – small groups of peers from the same grade level – and each Den sets its own meeting rhythm, so activities work alongside sports and other commitments, and every family decides how much they want to take on. It’s Scouting on your time, not the other way around.
“Cub Scouts gives families a way to unplug and spend real time together while their kids are learning skills that stick with them for life,” said Tracy Techau, CEO and Scout Executive of the Atlanta Area Council. “The sooner a family joins, the more of this year’s adventures their Scout gets to be part of.”
