Adam grew up in Cartersville and started his career remodeling homes as part of his family’s business. He learned from a young age that he enjoyed seeing how happy his customers were with the work and improvements that were performed on their homes.

Adam furthered his training by becoming a certified electrician for commercial and residential projects. In 2005, he became an operations manager at Snappy Electric. During his tenure, the business grew and expanded to include plumbing and heating and air conditioning services with a focus on commercial businesses and property management accounts. During this period, Snappy drifted away from its focus on homeowners and residential service.

When Adam and his wife, Heather, decided to buy Snappy, they had a goal to provide a local family-owned home service company to the community, but most importantly, to better provide a superior work culture for their employees. In recent years, the market trend has seen the big name electric, plumbing, heating and air companies bought by large national and international investment groups. This can lead to a disconnect with the employees and customers, which Snappy aims to avoid. They experienced this first hand with the previous ownership out of Connecticut that owned and operated many home service brands.

Adam and his wife have three children, and they are very passionate about the community. As the new owners, they also wanted to get back to Snappy’s roots: working on personal residences and building quality, lasting relationships with their customers. This shift has led to repeat business, further strengthening Snappy’s commitment to providing quality, honest and affordable services to local homeowners.

To give back to the community, Snappy partners with a local non-profit, Safehouse Outreach, that helps transition homeless people in need. When clients refer Snappy to their friends and neighbors, Snappy gives out gift cards as a thank you and a portion of every gift card is donated to Safehouse.

I firmly believe creating a culture that puts our employees first ensures our clients receive superior service from everyone on the Snappy team,” says Adam.
