About Princeton Early Prep School

Princeton Early Prep provides a comprehensive preschool education which engages the whole child. Daily teaching and learning objectives that will focus on the child’s development in the following areas: Social, Emotional, Physical, and Cognitive. They believe parents are a child’s first and primary teacher; so we encourage parent involvement in our program and insight into your child’s unique learning style.

About Montessori

Montessori is a scientific method of education, a philosophy of child development, and an approach to children that helps them maximize their potential. Doctor Maria Montessori, who lived from 1870 to 1952 was a brilliant and original educator. Her most important discovery was that children learn in a fundamentally different way than adults. A child, for example, learns his or her native tongue by hearing and imitating. Anyone who has learned a second language as an adult can appreciate what an enormously complex task it is. The young child, however, has an innate volume to “absorb” language as well as other types of knowledge spontaneously.

About Camp

The students will have the opportunity to take part in on-site Spanish each week, and yoga classes. Creative Dance and Modern Movement classes will also be offered on site by Ms. Tiffany’s dance studio, as well as gymnastics classes, and Chess Club. Additionally, we will have many visiting resources that will accompany our thematic lessons.

Every morning we will continue our morning work cycles and group lessons concentrating on the weekly units. Wednesdays we will have Library Day, and each child will be able to check out a book from the traveling library. Every Friday we will have outdoor picnics and water-play. We will have a theme for each week of summer day camp. Information regarding the various themes is as follows:
