Giving season is here and Cobb Community Foundation (CCF) is excited to announce the return of its annual Match Magic holiday giveathon, running November 11 through December 2, 2025. This year, a $125,000+ match pool will help boost donations to 27 local nonprofits, giving every contribution even greater impact.
Last year, Match Magic generated extraordinary results: participating nonprofits raised over $800,000 in just two weeks, with two-thirds of the organizations gaining new donors and 75% seeing larger gifts from existing supporters. This year, CCF is aiming even higher: a $1 million goal to further strengthen the impact of local nonprofits serving Cobb County.
“This is what collective giving can do,” said Shari Martin, President & CEO of Cobb Community Foundation. “CCF is proud to provide the tools, visibility, and matching dollars to give a boost to these nonprofits’ year-end fundraising efforts. We can’t wait to see what the generosity of donors and the commitment of our nonprofits can achieve together this year, in terms of dollars raised but more importantly, in terms of community impact.”
The 27 participating nonprofits were carefully selected by a panel of trained community leaders and represent a wide range of vital community services—from arts and education to health, housing, youth development, and more. Each donation through Match Magic amplifies their ability to serve local families, children, and neighbors.
Generous lead support for the 2025 match pool comes from Walton Communities, along with the Marietta Daily Journal (MDJ), which is distributing theMatch Magic Giving Guide throughout Cobb County. Additional contributions from Genuine Parts Company, S.A. White Oil Company, the Pressley Family Charitable Fund, Brassfield & Gorrie Charitable Fund, the Burckhalter Family Fund, David & Cheryl Cohen-Miller Charitable Fund, and other community members have helped grow the match pool, maximizing the impact of every gift. Contributions can be made to the match pool throughout the campaign.
