As we reflect on the important women in our own lives this Mother’s Day, it’s also worth a special “shout-out” to my worker bees/moms! Ever since 1993, I have made it my company’s mission to build a sense of community by providing information about our “side of town” and promoting the good people and special events that take place in East Cobb County. In addition to the 40,000+ readers we reach every month with the magazine, EAST COBBER also has 21,000+ email subscribers that receive our weekly e-newsletter, 11,500 Facebook fans, 3,760+ Twitter followers, and the numerous news items that we post on eastcobber.com blogs every month, EAST COBBER now provides a continuous stream of info 24 hours a day/7 days a week. And yet, EAST COBBER is more than a publishing company. In honor of Mother’s Day, I’d like to point out that EAST COBBER is a mom-owned company that employs moms. EAST COBBER not only promotes other mom (and pop) businesses but this little locally-owned company (no mega media conglomerate here!) offers career opportunities to local moms. Thanks to technology and a commitment to provide a quality work-life balance so precious to moms, I have put together a team of dedicated local moms who care about their families and the community they live in and who also use their professional skills to help me publish a quality magazine, keep up with social media, produce special events and more!

So here’s to my team of “wonder women” who inspire me with their work-life juggling skills, and how they handle the trials and tribulations of their motherhood journey! I’m so thankful for them.

Happy Mother’s Day!

PUBLISHER'S NOTE: 23 YEARS OF FUN!
