Spencer Wyckoff, 27, East Cobb native and son to local Sope Creek Elementary School 5th grade teacher Christiane Wyckoff, will be competing on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior on Wednesday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m. Spencer’s platform is to raise awareness for his younger sister, Carden Wyckoff, who has FSH Muscular Dystrophy. FSHD is a progressive form of MD that affects the face, shoulders and arms; however, it eventually takes over all skeletal muscle. Currently, there is no cure. Spencer is trying to change that.
