Stretch Zone, the leader of practitioner-assisted stretch and the pioneer of the Stretch Zone Method®, announces the opening of its newest location in the East Cobb portion of Marietta. This location was part of Stretch Zone’s recent Road to 300 campaign, celebrating over 300 locations in the United States, and is owned and operated by Cobb County native Kyle Boatright and his wife, Kelly.
Stretch Zone is accredited by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and has become the largest stretching franchise in the country. Utilizing patented equipment and proprietary training and education methodology, Stretch Zone takes a scientific approach to stretch. Different from massage, yoga, and other stretching modalities, the Stretch Zone Method does not seek to make muscles more flexible or elastic. Instead, Stretch Zone works to reeducate the nervous system to increase the active range of motion. It is an immediate and long-lasting difference.
Utilized by professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, and MLB, Stretch Zone assists athletes with all three phases of conditioning: the general training phase, the preparatory/competitive phase, and the recovery phase. Stretch Zone’s approach can accelerate recovery from workouts or competition, increase work capacity and enhance physical performance.
But just as importantly, founder Jorden Gold’s vision was to bring this same opportunity to the masses, allowing for easy access for all people, athlete and non-athlete alike, thus the franchise model was born. The East Cobb studio joins a system of 300+ locations and is the first of two locations for the Boatright family.
