The Titans Sports Academy (located at 775 Hawkins Store Road) is excited to announce another addition to its baseball/softball enterprise. The Titans Sports Academy, which is located on the corner of Hawkins Store Road and Canton Highway, will utilize land that was purchased almost two years ago for a new, state-of-the-art, on-site, outdoor field.

By building its own on-campus field, it will continue to elevate the organization as one of the leading baseball/softball operations in Georgia and the Southeast region of the United States. Titans Sports Academy currently has the approval/ Land Disturbance Permits (LDP) in hand. Breaking ground of the new field will be happening in the coming weeks.

“The new adjacent field will allow us to transform our operation from just an indoor facility to a complete complex,” said Titans Sports Academy, LLC CEO and founder, Chance Beam. “This addition positions the Titans organization to move forward in the area of player development for both boys and girls of all age groups. This field will catapult our organization to the forefront of travel baseball and softball for the foreseeable future and let us continue to strive for our goal of helping a thousand more players, reach the collegiate or professional levels.”

The Titans organization moved to their current location in 2017 and immediately expanded their operation with an 18,000 square-foot, two-story facility that rivals any similar structure and allows for year-round training, coaching and practice time. By expanding its operation yet again, this $300,000 field addition will be right outside its doors and allow players and coaches almost unlimited practice and teaching options.

The Titans organization was founded in 2003, and the program has produced more than 700 college or professional players. Couple these individual success stories with winning 17 national titles in various age groups and operating more than 20 teams annually, expansion was not only imminent but necessary.

From 2003 to 2013 the Titans were part of the East Cobb Baseball organization. Following this association, the Titans ventured out on their own in 2013 and formed the Titan Sports Academy, LLC. Using the same blueprint of success that worked so well for almost ten years, the Titans Sports Academy, LLC continued its success and expanded its footprint by adding what has become one of the most up-and-coming travel softball programs in this region.

By expanding its vision and using a forward-thinking approach, the #1TAT (Once a Titan, Always a Titan) program was also founded and serves as the 501c3 not-for-profit arm of the organization that will assist in raising the funding needed to construct the field and expand the Titans Sports Academy, LLC complex. In addition, the #1TAT program will raise money through private donations to help offset the cost of this new addition while generating additional funds for player development, team needs, future development and expansion.

Ultimately, the newly constructed field will house all of the Titans travel teams while allowing almost unlimited practice time in a facility that can be utilized 24 hours a day, seven-days-a-week. The new outdoor facility will be used primarily for team practices, individual player development, player camps, tryouts, and showcases while also hosting tournament events through organizations such as Perfect Game and USA Baseball.

Field construction is slated to begin in April 2019 with the completion date set for the fall of 2019.
