The Presidential Preference Primary is “Super Tuesday.”  

It looks and feels like an election but it is a preference  event. Your “vote” helps the state parties decide who  they will support at their Presidential Conventions. 

The deadline for registering to vote in the March  12 presidential preference primary election is Monday,  February 12, 2024. 

Here are the different ways you can register to vote  in Cobb County: 

  1. REGISTER online at the Secretary of State’s website:  www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP. 
  2. VISIT in person at the Cobb Board of Elections main  office located at 995 Roswell Street NE, Marietta,  30060. Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm. 
  3. CALL 770-528-2581 to request that an application  be mailed to you. Mail-in applications must be  postmarked by 30 days prior to the election. 
  4. REGISTER to vote when you get your driver’s license. 
  5. REGISTER at any Cobb County Library when you  apply for a library card; or any time you are at a  library you may pick up a blank application and  mail it in yourself.  

Note: If you move within Cobb County you must  notify 30 days prior to the election.
